    I'm sorry to see the shop has closed. I liked their menu (sandwiches, salads, and breakfast fare) and the convenience of popping in to get a quick bite to eat there or to go. Besides Boulangerie, are there any other spots in the area where we can get a quick conventional sandwich to go?

    Best sandwich shop in Irvine. Roast beef and blue is best sandwich they got. Proshmotto used to better but still decent.

    Finally tried this place out since I was in the mood for some cafe food. Got the mahi sandwich and the roast beef jalapeño sandwich. They let you sub the bread to whichever you want if you don't want the default! I got whole wheat to be healthier and was a huge fan of both sandwiches. Normally don't like tartar but their house made tartar on the mahi sandwich was so tasty! It was like a creamy mustard almost. Definitely will get the beef jalapeño again too; it was pretty lean meat and paired with the cheese and kick from the jalapeño it hit the spot. Price is so-so but I guess that's inflation. I think for $13-14 should come with a small side or even a pickle but that's my only complaint.

    Lunch on a weekday was delicious. The tuna sandwich was packed with so much tuna salad that a half was a whole meal. The large apple pecan salad was 2 meals as well. They were very generous with the pecans & cheese, the lettuce was fresh. Service at the counter was good from the 2 gentlemen working. We will be back.
